Yokohama Supporting France's Famed Courage Competition at Le Mans

Tokyo-Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., will support France's renowned Courage Competition in the LMP1 Class at the 73rd 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will be held over the weekend of June 18-19 at the Sarthe Circuit in France.
The company will provide two entries from that works team with specially developed racing tires. They include entry #13 in NEW ADVAN colors, driven by Shinji Nakano, an experienced Formula 1 who will aim for pole position. He has recorded excellent times in Paul Ricard test runs, and is favored to score a top finish. The two Courage Competition cars also plan to compete in the Le Mans Endurance Series. In the LM-GT Class, Yokohama will also support Porsche works team Alex Job Racing/BAM, Seikel Motorsport, and T2M Motorsports.
Courage Competition is a veteran chassis constructor (of the 27 cars entering the LMP Class, 11 will have chassis from that company). The team is famed in French motorsport. Courage Competition, and has a particularly solid reputation for its design, production, and technological expertise with Le Mans racing. Yokohama's alliance with Courage Competition stems from the latterユs high regard for Yokohama's involvement of more than 20 years in Le Mans.
