Tokyo-The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., has announced that DaimlerChrysler AG of Germany has selected the GEOLANDAR H/T G038 as an original equipment tyre for the 2001 model Mercedes-Benz G500. The announcement was made after the GEOLANDAR H/T G038 cleared the DaimlerChrysler AG? technical requirements. The Mercedes-Benz G500 equipped with these tyres has been marketed globally, except in Japan and the Middle East.
