Message from the President
Naoki Takahashi
While the Chinese electric vehicle market experienced remarkable growth in 2024, our business faced a challenging year due to intense competition and the struggles of Japanese car manufacturers. Despite a decrease in production volume due to reduced OE orders and unfavorable raw material prices, we were able to reduce factory costs through various improvement initiatives.
Regarding safety, we strengthened our safety management activities and worked towards achieving zero accidents. However, regrettably, we experienced three accidents and one minor fire, making it a year of much reflection.
On the other hand, construction of our new Hangzhou factory has begun, and we are all working together towards its launch while continuing to operate our existing factory.
CHZY is recognized as a "Model Enterprise for Corporate Safety Culture" in Hangzhou and as an "Ecological Civilization Education Base" in Zhejiang Province. We aim to balance economic development with environmental contributions and will continue to implement various initiatives in the future.

In addition to ensuring helmet use, we also checked the fastening of helmet straps and the speed of travel.
