Disaster Preparedness
Driven by our commitment to safety, YIA maintains a structured disaster preparedness program designed to protect our people, assets, and operations. Our Emergency Response Team (ERT), staffed by trained volunteers, serves as the first line of defense — delivering immediate assistance to injured personnel, stabilizing critical situations, and supporting evacuation efforts until first responders arrive. Through ongoing training, realistic drills, and a culture of continuous readiness, YIA ensures resilience, rapid response, and the highest level of care when it matters most.

Employee training and development programs are essential to the success of YIA. Not only do these programs offer opportunities for staff to improve their skills, but also for the organization to enhance employee productivity and improve company culture and employee morale.

Environmental management
Sustainability and environmental responsibility are integral to our operations. All Tier 1 YIA manufacturing facilities are ISO 14001 certified, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable practices. Our U.S. facilities are proudly celebrating their sixth consecutive year of achieving "Zero Landfill" status — a major milestone in our journey toward zero waste. In Mexico, our final facility is actively collaborating with local authorities and remains dedicated to achieving zero landfill status. Across all operations, we continue to prioritize the reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste streams to minimize our environmental footprint and foster a more sustainable future.

Corruption prevention
YIA has taken steps to ensure that corruption does not occur in our operations. We continuously improve our processes to make them more effective with checks and balances to make sure mistakes and fraud cannot happen. In 2023 we continued to improve our internet security to make sure that our employees are not tricked into fraudulent losses.
