Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it is supplying its ADVAN Sport V107 tires as original equipment (OE) to Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. for use on the automaker's new Fairlady Z, which was launched in Japan in August 2026 after undergoing a minor model change. The tire size is 245/45R18 100W.

The ADVAN Sport V107 is an ultra-high performance tire under the ADVAN brand, YOKOHAMA’s global flagship tire brand, and is targeted for use on premium car categories. While achieving a perfect balance of driving performance combined with superior comfort and safety characteristics, the ADVAN Sport V107 delivers a high-level combination of dry/wet performance and steering stability. The tires supplied for the new Fairlady Z achieve an exceptional balance of high-speed handling stability and responsive steering performance while also providing ride comfort, despite these conflicting performance requirements.

The Fairlady Z combines heritage-inspired styling with modern technology. It has also earned praise for the driving performance unique to the Fairlady Z. The refreshed model further evolves the heritage that has defined the Fairlady Z while enhancing its performance.

Under Yokohama Rubber’s three-year (2024–2026) medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), the consumer tire business aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added tires. One of the key initiatives under this strategy is promoting the global flagship ADVAN brand tires and the GEOLANDAR brand tires for SUVs and pickup trucks as original equipment for new cars.
