Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it is supplying its ADVAN V61 tires as original equipment (OE) to Mazda Motor Corporation for use on the automaker’s new crossover SUV, the MAZDA CX-5, sales of which was launched in Japan in May 2026. The tire size is 225/65R17 102V. The ADVAN V61 is also fitted on the MAZDA CX-5 for regions outside Japan, including Europe.

The ADVAN V61 is the premium SUV summer tire in Yokohama Rubber’s global flagship ADVAN brand range. It offers ADVAN’s hallmark premium-grade driving performance, along with a high-level balance of fuel and energy efficiency, handling stability, and quietness, achieving both comfortable city driving and long-distance touring for heavyweight SUVs. The ADVAN V61 is supplied as OE on many premium SUVs, and in addition to the size being utilized as OE, Yokohama Rubber started to offer a wide range of sizes for the replacement market in 2025.

MAZDA CX-5 is Mazda's best-selling model* in the automaker's current product lineup.
