Morimichi Honkai

Our company was established in January 2015 through the merger of two predecessor companies, YHCC (Hose Business) and YHCC (Hematite Business). We are currently a hose piping company specializing in hydraulic hoses.
We are constantly striving to improve and enhance our corporate level by meeting the demands of our customers. As part of our environmental conservation activities, we conduct a tree planting initiative called "Sen no Mori" (Thousand Year Forest). We are committed to social contribution through environmental protection.
Moving forward, we will continue to maintain the top quality of our products in China while contributing to the local community. We aim to become a company with an even greater presence in the Chinese market.

Management is conducted to ensure there are no internal control issues, with the General Manager at the top, department manager in each department, and section managers stationed below them. Management based on regulations is implemented regarding the division duties including matters for the approval of the General Manager and matters for the approval of department managers in each field. Inspection through both internal and external audits is also conducted to improve compliance awareness.

There is no discrimination based on matters including the birthplace or gender of each employee. Furthermore, the company is not engaged in any illegal activities such as forced labor or child labor.

ISO45001 Certificate

Of the total number of employees, 30% are women. Less than 40 percent of our managers are women in section managers and above, and there are equal opportunities for promotion to higher posts and positions for both men and women.
We have passed the ISO45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System regular audit on June 19-20, 2023. (This ISO45001 is valid from July 8, 2022 to July 20, 2025).

Installed solar panels

The Environmental Council has been established as a corporate meeting body, at which all the company’s executives confirm the environmental data for the previous month, and verify and discuss whatever other environmental issues there are. There have been zero environmental accidents nor near misses. What is more, there have also been zero complaints, etc. forthcoming from local residents.
* ISO 14001 has been certified for external audit on June 19-20, 2023. (This ISO14001 is valid from July 8, 2022 to July 12, 2025).
In addition, in order to reduce GHG emissions, we installed solar panels on the roof of the plant and started operating solar power generation in May 2020. With the introduction of solar power generation, we were able to reduce GHG emissions by 23%.

• We are working to reduce electricity consumption by replacing the factory lighting with high-efficiency LEDs.

• Greenhouse gas emissions were calculated based on the Calculation and Reporting Manual for Greenhouse Gas Emissions jointly published by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan. Calculation of emissions from overseas business locations since FY2016 was based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Initiative.

Forever Forest Activities

On March 12, 2024, we carried out the 7th "Forever Forest Tree Planting Activity" and planted 100 saplings.

Corruption prevention

A purchase order is issued by the purchasing department based on the request from each department, and the delivery is accepted and inspected by the requesting department. We purchase consumables and other items from vendors designated by the Chinese group companies at specified prices to ensure that the prices are appropriate. Additionally, as part of efforts to prevent fraud, internal rules have been put in place. In compliance with them, any purchase of CNY 2,000 or larger is ordered only when approved by general accounting department; the approving parties for orders are appointed based on purchase size; and big-ticket purchases are approved by the top management.

Communication with users

Until now, sales of hydraulic hoses to Chinese OE and REP channels have been carried out by a sales company in Shanghai.
From July 2023, we have shortened our commercial distribution to YIPHZ and changed our sales activities to grasp customer needs in a timely manner.
We regularly visit customers to gather direct feedback and strive to improve our products and services.

Relationship with local societies

We conducted a garbage collection activity at the Qiantang River in Xiasha on April 13th. A total of 62 HZ employees and their families participated in the event. On May 20th, we carried out a biodiversity activity in the Xiasha district.
