It was a brutal start fort he 24h race at the Nürburgring, Changing wheather conditions endet in heavy rain showers all over the track. Many accidents and spins overshadowt the race in the first two hours. All cars must drive on the wet tyres.

One of the first cars that crashed was the Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 with Yokohama tyres. David Pittard was the driver in the car at that time. At Adenauer Forst hit Pittard the guardrail. Hi limped back to the garage from Walkenhorst Motorsport, where the mechanics did a great job and repaired the car in a few minutes. Currently the car is two laps down in position 29 in class. „It was more rain at the Adenauer Forst. David slided into the grass, he had no chance at this moment“, so team manager Niclas Königbauer.

In car #102 Jörg Müller did a fantastic opening stint. Müller drove from position 30 to 18 in class.

The Walkenhorst M6 from teamowner Henry Walkenhorst, Friedrich von Bohlen, Jörg Breuer and Andreas Ziegler is currently on position 30 in class. The quartett didn´t want to risk a crash in the risky conditions on the track.

Car #74 is currently on position five in the SP10-class for GT4-Cars. The car from Cameron Evans, Lance Boicelli, David Thilenius and Charlie Postins had to cop a penalty, after speeding in pit lane.
