After a chaotic start into the 24h at the Nürburgring, the track dried quickly. The first drivers soon switched to slick tyres.

„We’re back in the Yokohama comfort zone“, told Yokohama engineer Mark Williams. „We have a dry line and Sami-Matti and Ben are driving fantastic times. I think we can push even more now!“

With a lap time of 8:28.183, Sami-Matti Trogen drove the fastest lap of the race so far in the Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3. The young fin had the Yokohama Slicks mounted to his M6 GT3. Team manager Niclas Königbauer was really happy with the performance of his junior driver. After four hours the car is on position 20.

Ben Tuck in the #101 M6 GT3 did a fantastic job as well. The brit has driven some best times in multiple sectors. After a crash in the first laps the car is currently on position 26 in the class.

Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 #100 from Henry Walkenhorst, Friedrich von Bohlen, Jörg Breuer and Andreas Ziegler is currently on position 31 in the SP9-class.

In the SP10-class ist he Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 on Yokohama-Tyres currently on fifth position.
