After over 12 hours of red flag the 24h race at the Nürburgring will be restarted! At 9:30 CET, the pit exit will be open and cars can drive in the grid!

At 10:20 CET time the formation lap will start, 20 minutes later the race will be back underway. The 2021 edition oft he 24h race at the Nürburgring will have only 9h and 50 minutes racetime approximately.

The teams are very happy about the restart! Some pessimists have been concerned that the race will continue at all. As the weather conditions haven’t improved much.

Walkenhorst Motorsport driver David Thilenius joked about the red flag, that the break will help the quartett in the BMW M4 GT4 because oft he sleeping in the night. The car is currently on position five in the SP10-class.

The M6 GT3 from Christian Krognes, Ben Tuck, David Pittard and Jörg Müller is currently on position 25 in the class. The car suffered an accident at the first laps of the race. After a quick repair from the BMW team was the car back in the race.

The best Walkenhorst BMW M6 with Yokohama Tyres is currently at position 15. Mario von Bohlen, Sami-Matti Trogen, Kuba Giermaziak and Jörg Müller driving the car. The car drove the fastest lap of the race so far.

On position 30 in the class ist he third BMW M6 GT3 from Teamowner Henry Walkenhorst, Friedrich von Bohlen, Jörg Breuer and Andreas Ziegler.
