Tokyo - The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it will exhibit its products at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2014 to be held at Hamburg Messe in Germany, April 8-10.

The Yokohama booth will display for airlines and aircraft manufacturers its aircraft lavatory lineup, with the highlight being a retrofit module featuring enhanced touch-less functions and a refreshed design of the module already used on Boeing 737 Next-Generation(NG) aircraft. The booth's goal is to increase Yokohama's presence in the aftermarket interiors sector.

Yokohama Rubber manufactures and sells a wide range of aircraft components, including water tanks, thermal insulation materials, lightweight composite materials, and honeycomb structures. Yokohama's superior lavatory modules are built around its lightweight composite materials and were the original lavatories installed in the Boeing 757 and now for more than 10 years in the Boeing 737 family of aircraft. In addition, the Company develops custom-made replacement modules for airlines seeking to upgrade existing aircraft.

The Aircraft Interiors Expo is a world-class trade show featuring aircraft interior products, as well as related materials and leading-edge technologies. The Expo is held each spring in Germany, with a sister show in the autumn in the United States. The Expo is an optimal venue for makers of aircraft interior components to introduce their products to aircraft makers and airline companies.
