Tokyo—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today it will record a loss of 2.9 billion yen on the revaluation of investment securities in fiscal 2009 (April 1, 2008, to March 31, 2009). Management is analyzing the loss in the context of Yokohama's overall financial performance and will determine whether the loss mandates a revision of the company's fiscal projections.
