Message from Plant Head
The year 2022, while it was certainly challenging in many ways, it also showed how strong we are as TEAM - even in the toughest of times.
2022 achievements like lowest ever claims, lowest process waste, lowest scrap, business excellence, highest production numbers, making new records & overall improvement in the process – system. This endorses that as a team we are extremely flexible, agile & Passionate.
We started considering Quality as accident, having in-depth analysis on root cause and working for POKA YOKE. We further enhanced our cultural transformation strengthening SOP compliances, MES system and building our teammates’ capabilities. Putting our enduring efforts for cultural transformation. We didn’t lose any opportunity to serve our customer & market demand.
I’m proud to count on our 2022 achievements like lowest ever claims, lowest process waste, lowest scrap, business excellence, highest production numbers, making new records & overall improvement in the process – system. This endorses that as a team we are extremely flexible, agile & Passionate.
In addition to this, we have received the recognition of TPM Significant Achievement Award from - CII TPM Club of India, 5S platinum award from ABK – AOTS, Gold certification from IMexI and many awards & accolades won by our teams on state and national level of competition.
You all have shown what we can achieve when we think and work as a team. So, I want to thank each one of you for the hard work, passion and commitment you’ve shown this year. Our combined strength is what makes us successful organization.

Whistle-blower policy
Concerning the company’s whistle-blower policy, in addition to it acting to protect employees from unethical business practices, we have put in place a system to provide for the reporting of real concerns and complaints. Furthermore, regarding both the basic principles of the company’s business and the reporting of any habitual practices, such matters are processed using methods that are fair and unprejudiced as is regulated by the corporate laws of 2013 and company rules 177 (9) and (10) from 2014.
Human Rights
Promotion of gender equality
We commenced the recruitment of female employees in 2017. We already have 230 female associates on board as of December 2022.
Our “Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy” is the result of considerable hard work on the part of ATC India Pvt. The aim of this Policy is to provide employees with a workplace that is free from sexual harassment, intimidation, and exploitation. The objectives outlined in the Policy are to protect all employees in the specified workplaces from the misery of sexual harassment, and provide assistance in cases where it has been experienced, as well as protecting employees from related problems or any other issue pertaining to this legislation. In order to raise awareness among all of the company’s employees, sexual harassment prevention training is being implemented in individual workplaces in line with the Policy.
The company has established an Internal Complaints Committee which is responsible for the following matters:
- Investigating all formal complaints of sexual harassment
- Implementing appropriate corrective measures in relation to reports of sexual harassment & time to reviewing its sustenance.
- Combating and preventing employment-related sexual harassment

Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety Policy (QEHS)
ATC Tires Pvt Ltd, which is a company engaged in the manufacturing of off-the-road (OTR) tire, off –highway-tire(OHT), TBR Tire is committed to the creation, maintenance and assurance of product quality, health and safety, and environmental protection, for all of the people and businesses with which the company is involved. This stance is a vital element in our planning and decision-making, and is embodied in the following items.
- In carrying on our business activities, we demonstrate respect and care for our customers, people in general, and the environment.
- By manufacturing and providing products that meet our customers’ needs, we realize customer satisfaction.
- We meet product quality requirements.
- We ensure the health and safety of all of the company’s stakeholders in our workplaces.
- We fulfil our legal compliance responsibilities in relation to environmental risks and occupational health and safety risks.
To this end, we realize the following items:
- We safeguard the environment by ensuring efficient utilization of resources (through recycling, etc.) and through pollution prevention, and we use new technologies etc. to properly manage emissions from production processes.
- To protect against injuries and illnesses resulting from occupational health and safety incidents, we ensure that appropriate systems and processes are put in place for all employees.
- We make use of a variety of different forums to promote dialog with all of our stakeholders in regard to quality, health and safety, and environmental performance.
- We make efforts to conserve biodiversity in our business activities.

Social Security and Health Insurance
Our company provides employees with social insurance coverage and medical/injury insurance such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity and Group Accident Insurance, etc.
We have a six-member specialist safety team that takes the lead at the AGM and with respect to matters of environmental health and safety.
Within the policy’s code of conduct,
The following is stipulated: “Our company strives to supply a safe and healthy workplace environment in all areas.” Each workplace is operated according to the hygiene and safety requirements of all applicable regions, states, and countries, and it is necessary not to be affected by illegal drugs, alcohol, or substances. All employees have a responsibility to support the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace by obeying applicable laws and the code of conduct.Company do the employee Health Checkup every year.
Festival celebrations
The company celebrates events such as Independence Day (August 15), Republic Day (January 26), National Safety Week, World Environment Week, Quality Month, Women Day and Vishwakarma Puja, New Year, Socio & Cultural Events, etc. On such national / public holidays, all employees celebrate together.
On the auspicious Ganpati Puja & Deepawali festival we celebrate by distributing gifts and sweets packets to all staff employees and third party associates. As part of our employee’s well-ness & employee connect activities we organize like International Yoga Day & Sports Day in our factory.
Training
Training and development initiatives are educational activities within an organization that are designed to improve the job performance of an individual or group. These programs typically involve advancing a worker's knowledge and skill sets and instilling greater motivation to enhance job performance.
We undertake to carry out classroom training, open forums, and on-the-job training (training in the workplace).
For all new workers who join the company, we implement an introductory six-days training program whose lessons deal with matters of Employment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Quality, and Corporate Policies, etc. New workers who achieve very high results in their training are recognized.
In 2022, we conducted training programs for all our employees related to technical, TPM, Behavioral training, which meant that on an average, each employee got average 2.52 Man days.
Glimpses of trainings happened in 2022 are:
- “O” Level Training- training program designed for the upgradation of operator skill to promote them to O level. This has covered all Operative team members on topics like Behavior Based Safety, Quality parameters, Operations. Process and defects awareness 150 employees covered in year 2022
- Saksham (Induction Program) - This is an Induction training for Operator for 06 days durations. This will cover all Operative team members on the topics like Company Vision Mission Policy, Values, DOJO, Safety, Production Process, TPM and 5S, Quality etc

- Automotive Core Tools Training (FMEA,APQP) 03 Days – 21 Nos (External Faculty)

We have also undertaken the following initiatives for the benefit of our employees:
- Improvised canteen facility for all employees with Air cooled ventilation facility.
- Transportation (buses) is provided for all employees on all shifts.
- All employees undergo medical check-ups
- We have started employees recreational activities like celebrations of International Yoga Day,
The Environment
We continue doing tree plantation at nearby surroundings as well as inside the factory premises. In the year 2022 we have planted 5,000 trees in and around our plant.

Fair Operating Practices
Code of conduct to regulate fair competition and trade
The tire business is a competitive industry. Nevertheless, at this company we are entirely committed to behaving in a manner that supports fair competition and business dealings with all.
All our employees are required to act ethically, and to communicate frankly and honestly. We act fairly in all our dealings with colleagues, managers, customers, suppliers, consultants, and government officials (both domestically and overseas).
To continue this practice and to keep our employees aware about company’s performance we organize monthly town hall communication where leadership team delivers the performance of last month and future plan for upcoming month. Also, senior leadership team take feedback and suggestions from employees in a participative forum. In line with the same we acknowledge our employees for their positive contribution at the work regularly as part of Reward & recognition program. We always encourage fair & unbiased approach while dealing with employees.
Consumer Issues
Product & Service safety and quality
For the purpose of being able to suitably provide information to our customers, we are undertaking to improve both our marketing and our communications ability with respect to product information.
Concerning complaints received from customers regarding the performance of our tires and any newly-occurring defects, we work to resolve such issues through the undertaking of corrective measures.
The company complies with the occupational health and safety requirements of product manufacture. We provide safe high-quality tires that meet all applicable standards and regulation.
It acts in accordance with matters of compliance when concluding contracts, and it undertakes training for the purpose of resolving problems.
Community Involvement and Development
Social contribution activities
The School Adoption project in Dahej aims at holistically improving Kaladhara Primary Government School in Dahej through Infrastructure improvement, Teacher’s capacity building, Tech-assisted learning & community participation. The steps taken are as follows:
- 2 Classroom and school-compound wall was constructed.
- Sanitation infrastructure like urinals, toilets were built for boys and girls.
- Procurement for digital classroom devices, computers, modern teaching-learning methods (TLMs), benches, playground equipment has begun.
The Rainwater harvesting project in Dahej aims to provide safe-drinking water to the 5 village-communities as well as to build their capacities to sustainably manage safe-drinking water needs. With regards to this the following measures have been taken:
- 3 village ponds were revived at Galenda, Akhod & Samantpore villages
- Community-level plantation drive was undertaken
- WaSH capacity building program held for children, women & other villagers
The project created a storage capacity of 69 crore-litres to harvest that much amount of rainwater. Many more water-positive steps are to be taken in time to come for comprehensive water resource management.
The Skill-development center project in Dahej aims to support youth, especially the women, by offering skill-training through short term courses in rubber-tire manufacturing and enhancing employment opportunities. We mobilized eligible youth across Indian colleges to train, certify and provide entry-level jobs in the tire industry. These courses are 2-month fully sponsored residential program, which comprises 1 month classroom & 1 month on-job training on proto-type machinery. The courses are certified by Rubber, Chemical & Petrochemical Skill Development Council (RCPSDC). Under this project, 252 candidates have been trained and placed.
