Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that its BluEarth 711L tires have been selected as original equipment (OE) for the Super Great heavy duty truck. The sales of the Super Great were started in Japan from December 2023 with a full model change, by Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation. The tire sizes are 245/70R19.5 136/134J and 275/80R22.5 151/148J.

The BluEarth 711L is an all-season tire for trucks that emphasizes fuel efficiency and has achieved excellent fuel efficiency. This will contribute to the reduction of customers’ transportation costs, especially for customers who drive on highways a lot of the time. Moreover, apart from realizing superior wear resistance, the tires have a high-level balance of uneven-wear resistance, wet performance, snow performance and quietness.
