Relationship with local societies

The Philippine economy is confident that 2022 will be the year that we will return to normalcy. Despite the surge in positive cases due to the Omicron variant early in January, the country has succeeded in limiting severe infections and deaths due to the continuous efforts of the government to vaccinate and boosted everybody. As responsible individuals, all YTSP employees got continuously practicing health and safety measures even though the government eased up the restrictions and protocols implemented in the country. In this way, we were able to resume most of our activities in and out of the workplace with confidence and with safety in mind.

We also joined the latest CSR activity of Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) wherein at least 250 seedlings were planted at Sapang Bato, Angeles City Pampanga in order to increase the resilience of our ecosystem and raise awareness to the society the importance of planting and saving trees and its contribution to the reduction of unfavorable effects of climate change.
