Yokohama Industrial Products Manufacturing Indonesia, as a manufacturing company with a capital of 1 billion yen by the end of this year. While the new plant will be constructed on a 50,000 square meter land, Yokohama Rubber plans to expand the production site to adjacent land for possible expansion in the future.

Yokohama Rubber is endeavoring to concretize the goals of its medium-term management plan, Grand Design 100, by fiscal 2017, the company's centennial year. The plan's targets include expanding the overseas sales ratio of the Multiple-business (MB) segment, which includes industrial products, aerospace products and sporting goods, from the current 33% to 50%.
